St. Mary of Mount Carmel joyously re-opened on May 10th after being closed for seven months due to renovation.  The Mass for the Dedication of St. Mary's new altar and the walls of the church was celebrated by Bishop Battersby as the main celebrant along with several other guest clergy.  During Mass, Bishop Battersby anointed the altar and the walls of the church with Sacred Chrism, setting them apart for God forever!   The Mass was followed by a luncheon in the church basement.
